If "Dark Mode" comes out in the playoffs, I think it should be for a later game. Given the possible weather conditions, all orange would be good. Either way, I hope the guys show up and show out!!

1 Players of opposing teams shall wear jerseys of contrasting colors. Players on the same team shall wear jerseys of the same color and design

2 The visiting team shall wear white jerseys; however, the home team may wear white jerseys if the teams have agreed in writing before the season

3 If the home team wears colored jerseys, the visiting team may also wear colored jerseys, if and only if the following two conditions have been satisfied:
a The home team has agreed in writing prior to the game; and
b The conference of the home team certifies that the jersey of the visiting team is of a contrasting color

End of day this game is great for us no matter the outcome. For them its do or die.

Heres the truth.. UT fans wanted the playoffs.....hoped for the playoffs but no one in their right mind was in championship or die mode. OSU fans were and are.

Let's not be silly this game comes down to the first few series. If UT comes out and jumps on their heads their crowd will turn on them fast. Anything else its gonna be tough sledding. The horseshoe one of the few stadiums bigger than Neyland (seats) and their ticket allotment for this game is gonna be insane, they will likely have 90% of the crowd. If they can keep their crowd in it, its a problem, as it is going to any of the mega stadiums. If its snowing/cold as f, that's also a big deal. The heart of our offense has had a serious issue holding onto the ball in the first quarter.

To this point its not ended in an L....Our defense bailed us out of 3/4 of them with either a 3 and out or an int. Agaisnt Vandy it almost got really ugly and it could be argued that is why we are not hosting a playoff game. I think this game comes down to the first quarter. If we can jump up on them and make Will Howard be a QB and not a game manager we are set. If they can unleash their RB's and let Howard be a play-action game manager we are toast. Hate all you want but they have easily the most talented 2 rb's in college football (as a unit) both their rb's are easily top 8 backs taken in this draft. Their Oline is down from injuries but they have time to get healthy. Their defense is in the same league as the best we have seen this year. They lost 2 games yeah.. by 4 points. I think we are the better team but home field is a big deal here.

You think if we'd have blasted Vandy by 41-10 or something we'd be hosting? I don't think there was any result that would have jumped Buckeyes knowing what we know now.

Not sure jumping out to a hot start will matter a ton in the long run. We couldn’t have started any better against Georgia. Our issue is and has been not adjusting. If you see you need to blitz then start doing it! If you see passing is working then keep doing it or running vice versa.

For all the dark mode haters: the baseball team was 3-0 in postseason elimination games, including winning Games 2 and 3 of the College World Series en route to winning the national championship. So all of you can jump off a cliff for all I care.
