If Pruitt starts Guarantano against Kentucky—he is not a legitimate coach.

A coach gives his team a chance to win by exhausting every possible option.

We lost to Georgia yesterday with a 4th string QB.

Our defense played their asses off. And guarantano handed them the game by being concrete footed in the pocket, slow to make decisions, and just completely inept.

This isn’t a shock either. We’ve known what we have at QB for 3 years now. The fact that guarantano has started a game after the Bama game last year(even before that if we’re being honest), makes me SERIOUSLY wonder if Pruitt is a competent coach.

And makes me wonder if our administration is competent giving him an extension....

So you think the OL play had nothing to do with how the Offense played? SMDH
Do you want him to replace the OL too? We have already tried changing the OL numerous times and JG still sucks.

The QB is the position we can change next. We have been blaming the OL for JG’s entire career. How many different OL’s do we need for him?

I think you should fire him yourself then.

JG just needs another year under Chaney and to be a 6th year senior. With that experience and "veteran" status next year is the year for JG to finally put it all together! It always takes 10 years of high school and college ball for most QB's to really get going anyways!

In reality, we lost to an NFL front 7 D...JG didn't help, but our 5*'s didn't match their 5*s...in fact, they performed more like a Butch OL.

Lots of teams are going to. Outside of may be Bama, I don’t see them losing. Best defense in the country.

Such a spot in post op. I couldn’t agree more. Coaches have to wear a lot of hats. Recruiting, handling assistants, etc. but choosing the right personnel is a biggie (something that really hurt Jones) and no personnel decision is bigger than QB it was depressing last fall as the season approached when you came to realize that there wasn’t a qb competition it was just handed to JG. The season played out the way I’d have expected it to really with JG at the helm. But it took an absolute disaster before he was willing to make a change. So to say leading into this year and realizing yet again that there was no competition and the job was JG’s was disappointing is a massive understatement. I’ve said this multiple times...Pruitts inability to recognize what any ordinary fan can see (that Jg is a really poor qb) is shocking and if he doesn’t change it now it will define his legacy and he’ll never have a head coaching opportunity at this level again.

Question for someone close to the program? Does JG know enough to recognize D's and get out of the play or change the blocking assignments. I would see him audible and it reminded me of HS when QB called a play in huddle and went up to line, looked at D and decided whether said play would go left or right. He would do simple audible and UGA D would all shift at one time in unison and we got either twitch penalties or minus yards..Train wreck

You have to stretch a great defense like UGA horizontally before your can beat them vertically with any consistency. The OL was beat to crap because UGA knew they could load the box and play man. I think everyone understands why. No reason to bash the dude. Fulmer made this a throw away season when he gave the two year extension before the season started.

We hadn't played anyone worth a damn in a year. Simple.
I’m very aware of who we’ve played.i just think it’s hilarious all the dipshits that come out of the woodwork that start hurling personal insults at the coaching staff because they are mad. I don’t think everyone is giving the UGA defense the proper respect they deserve . Yeah we were not good, but they are elite.

The truth is, and many JG die hards will hate to hear this, is that more fans would be understanding losing behind an up and coming freshman/Sophmore QB making the same mistakes that a 5th year is making. More upside to starting our younger guys now when it doesn't hurt their eligibility. This is about the future of the program. JG will never make the NFL. He has reached his AL Bundy moment, time to move on.

wake up, the oline sucks, Mays looked like a bullfighter, hope 55 doesn't come back, both soph tackles looked like they are wearing weighted boots............JG and the running game have to have people block for them. IT ALL STARTS IN THE TRENCHES....and the oline coach needs a clue

We're you saying this the first half of the game? Sounds like every other half glass full fan that wants to make excuses for the loss. We showed we could play with the big boys, and then we collapse. GA didn't change anything about their game except get inside of JG head. Played man and press coverage on the receivers daring JG to beat them, and they were right.
