If Tennessee....

I don't know why you are even posting this, since Gruden has been and is a done deal.
This thought process not only doesn't jibe with your stance about Gruden, but it's already the start of the kind of bs we won't need around all offseason. You did it last off season, and you are already setting up to do it again. Whomever is the coach, will be the coach, no matter how much you whine about it.

I suggest just shutting up for a little while, letting it take its course, then get behind the team and new coaching staff for recruiting and current players, as well as next years team. If you can't do that, then you have no room to be critical.

I was waiting for this Sparty. I have never ever, not one time, stated on this board that Gruden was a done deal. Did I believe it? Yes.
Do I still think we have a shot with him despite Friday? Yes

But to say I came on saying my sources told me this is ridiculous, because I didn't, and guess what, I was right about Dooley last off season. Remember that :p

If you're looking for a PROVEN winner that the whole fanbase can get behind.. Go back up the Cash Truck to TCU and get Patterson.. That program has hit its ceiling.. He's taken them to their highest of highs already.

Hambone said he was too much like Fulmer lol

We have become Colorado dude. It's over. Nail in coffin. Hart had the chance and he wouldn't pull the trigger.. the hire of a lifetime.. Hart would have gone down as one of our great AD's.. the man who saved UT football at its darkest hour.. instead he'll go down, just like Hitler and the rest of the ego-maniacs of history, as a man that failed because his ego is so big he refused to listen to others and was set on doing everything his way. His way or the highway. Please, anytime you see Dave Hart in public give him your middle finger and tel him to "***** off and leave TN," I know I will. My alma mater just lost ALL financial support from me for the foreseeable future. No donations, no tickets to any sport, no Vol gear, no tailgating, nothing.

Good job Dave Hart, hope your ego got stroked at TN's expense.

Way to go out on a limb with Dooley.

And yes, you posted often about hearing this and that about gruden and playing your little echaracter. It's all good. We knew you knew not much of anything, anyway.

Just try to stop ******** about everything, especially before you even know wtf is going on.

He sounds like Fisher may be staying at FSU--and why wouldn't he.

That leaves Gundy, Strong, maybe Mora, maybe Davis and "others."

Not sure about Gundy--would he really leave osu? Have trouble seeing it.

Are we looking at Strong or Davis? Mora is clearly a sharp coach, but a stranger to the south, I think, and my bet is he wouldn't stay long. He's in southern california now, just as Kiffin was, and he's got much more of a NFL background than a college background. Easy to see him bolting for a good NFL job in three years if he made progress at UT.

Write another guy into the delusional part of our fanbase..

If Auburn hired Fisher away from Florida State we'd probably be saying.. Wow they're more serious than we are...

But if he comes here we should bulldoze the stadium? Lol.

Gruden has never coached in college and doesn't want to now, and Stoops is making 5 large a year at OKLAHOMA! So if we can't get those 2 we're not being "serious"? Give me a break... You're prolly late for your 4th period class.

Didn't think elementary school had different periods...

Ha ha ha, I would have to have sources to have ecred. I know Lex, OV, and Jay, but that was because of the Orange and White game this year, and besides that, anything I said I got from them. They had already put everything on here. I would sometimes repeat them, and they know this.

As far as Dooley goes, last offseason, in your eyes, it was dumb of me to call out Dooley, so it was, apparently a big deal to you.

Given what our program has gone through the last 4-5 years, hiring Fisher or Gundy would be a pretty nice step in the right direction IMO

It could be worse

Gundy would be an absolute disaster. Fisher wouldn't be that great either but at least he can recruit some.

And either way, "it could be worse" or "at least he's better than Dooley" should never ever ever be our standard for hiring a coach.

settles for Mike Gumby or Dumbo Fisher, we deserve to become another Colorado.

If it isn't Gruden or Stoops, give me Charlie Strong.

If it's none of three, somebody crank up some bulldozers and push Neyland off in the river, and let the women's soccer team play on Shields-Watkins Field.

We clearly aren't serious about football anymore if we hire some of the dip **** names we are supposedly talking to.

I want to win.

I don't see how Strong tops Fisher. Neither is that proven. Gundy's D worries me. They don't play D in the Little 12

Opinions on Dooley were seldom dumb.

Repeating the same stuff over and over when there is not a thing we can do about it except watch the season play out was ridiculous.

hahaaha.....you want Strong out of the Big East whose victories this yr are against a competition with a compiled record of 57-81 and not Gundy who wins in the Big 12 and recruits just as good if not better than Strong.....he has a longer track record of winning and has been a HEAD COACH longer....smh

The fact is that Hart botched the HR hire and he did it purposely because he had someone else in mind at a much cheaper price. End of story. Now we are stuck in the cellar for years to come. That is all my opinion on what the facts are

I do not want Gundy. But Gundy is better than Strong. Strong has had a few DECENT seasons at LOUISVILLE!! LOUISVILLE!!

Not proven.:peace2:

Gundy right now seems to be the best of what all has been mentioned. Not hating Strong, but that is way down the list....let's not panic and get a good long term solution here.
