Playoffs work for the rest of the NCAA, in all sports, in all divisions. It'll work in FBS. It's still football. The best teams will still win the NC.

Even with an 8 team playoff you open up the real possibility that teams with 2 losses would be included. In pretty much every year but one that I can remember (2007), no 2 loss teams deserves a shot at the NC.

I have no problem with a 2 loss team winning the NC, especially with the kind of conferences being proposed.

IMO - As is the case with every BCS debate, the posters arguing in favor of a playoff are easily winning this debate.

Of course they are because a playoff is superior in almost every way; even the one point that could go the BCS' way, the regular season argument; is exaggerated.
