You obviously did not watch the correspondents' dinner.

Also, Seth Meyers is the head writer for SNL; therefore, he comes up with his own shtick.

You're correct. I didn't watch the correspondent's dinner. Seth Meyers still sucks. I don't care who the lead writer is, he's not coming up with anything funny. Tina Fey used to be the head writer and she also sucks.

I'm watching the finale because Timberlake is hosting and he's hilarious on SNL.

Yes, I did.

I'm the opposite. SNL imo was at it's best when they're coming up with their own material instead of just running several political satire sketches. I've read they used to let the players actually write a decent amount of material(up till around the time Will Farrell left), but have gone predominantly to writers instead. Sure some political satire is expected, especially during campaign season, but from like 2001-2010 it was too much. It was like a crutch for them.

The democrat's would still blame the republicans and the republicans would still blame the democrats. It won't change anything.

You want to change things, get rid of the mindset in this country that the govt should be responsible for taking care of the citizens. All we should want or need from govt is infrastructure (roads) and defense.

I am reminded that he made a joke about Bin Laden hiding at CSPAN. The cameras panned to Obama who appeared to be laughing hysterically. I don’t know how he kept his cool knowing what was about to happen in less than 24 hours.
