BC has won at least 9 games each of the past 5 seasons. I'm sure UT will continue to go after Rettig but maybe when he looked closer he noticed that that sexy girl is cross-eyed.

You won't win 9 games this year, and I bet we could beat BC by at least 3 TDs if we played this year.

Looking at your schedule, you'll do well to just make it to a bowl game in '09...

This is a thread about Rettig, isn't it? What does it matter how badly UT might beat BC this or any other year? My guess is Rettig picked BC because he's interested in more than just football.

You sound like a Notre Dame fan. That's not a compliment.

You're the one who cited your 5 year streak of 9+ wins as a reason why Rettig would choose BC over UT. I'm just telling you that streak will come to a crashing halt this year. I'll be surprised to see BC post more than 6 wins this year.

I made no connection between BC's recent record and Rettig's commitment. I said that I think he chose BC because he cares about more than just football.

As I told another poster, I think that if UT would have offered Rettig after his camp performance, he would have been a UT commitment but since LK played the waiting game, they lost out on him and BC picked him up. Even more so after UT offered Rees while also telling Rettig, he and Jesse were the two they wanted

I saw both JS and RS at the USC camp and I came away thinking that Rettig was a better selection than JS

What do you think of Tyler Bray since he outperformed everybody at the Elite 11 besides Heaps and is ranked 15 spots higher than Rettig in the new rankings?

In my opinion, he looks out of place. His throwing mechanics are all out of wack and I can not get his 5.45 40 yard dash out of my head. With the speed of today's defense, you have to be able to move a little bit and he is slow as slow can be.

It is funny that he is going to SDUS as he reminds me of old sdsu qb Dan McGwire.

I'm going to agree with the BC fan here. We haven't played a down yet this year and last year we lost to Wyoming. It's reality, and it sucks.

Can't blame the kid for not wanting to be held waiting for well over a month just for Scroggins (little punk bastard knew 3weeks ago where he was going and told Carroll...so he intentionally strung us out. I hope his sorry@$$ stays glued to the bench at SC).
