They can beat a lot of teams on a given night, and so can Michigan. Michigan has been on an impressive run since late January. The inconsistency of the Vols is downright frustrating and will cost them in the end.

Since you're not playing I guess it's a moot point. We'll have to play our best to beat UM. Duke will run us off the floor.

Pitt is a number one for a reason, they are a top 5 team...so is Duke..the difference between playing each is the Tennessee team from December to here is not even a close comparison.

They said the same thing about Pitt(rebounding) and Pitt is not overrated. That is a ridiculous statement. Tennessee can beat Duke. These refs are not from Charlotte nor are they guaranteed to have ties to Charlotte or NC. Stop being so negative. We CAN beat Duke and we might. BTW im not saying we will. Just saying we can.

ummmmm.. NO.. UT beat Pitt in Pittsburgh but not at Pitt's home gym..

Duke isn't hungry as some of the other teams in the tournament after their recent success. They might be a good upset candidate.

I disagree. The matchup will never happen.

First round loss to Michigan will sting, but it will end the misery on a pretty sad season for a team that should be much better.

I think some of the earlier posts are correct. We can beat any team on any given night. Therefore, I think we beat Michigan. Unfortunately for us, our recent history also proves we can't do it twice in a row so we wil be beat half to death and our shoes will be hung on the wire when we play Duke.

I think Michigan is going to be tough, mainly because of the way UT has been playing of late. They weren't that bad of draw.
