If we stomp Bama in Tuscaloosa...

Josh needs this game badly after the Florida loss. Beat Bama at their place, and two years in a row, and he proves to me and everyone else that he’s the real deal.

No he doesn't. He is a great coach whether he proves it to your professional eye or not lol. LOTS of Tennessee coaches have lost in Gainesville with far superior teams than the one we took to the Swamp. UT hasn't won in Gainesville since 2003

if we have another bad road performance in the best rivalry in sports again this weekend then I will be very skeptical of Josh. He needs this win.

Texas A&M, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU. Those teams struggle in the road. Tennessee wont anymore. Come on Josh.

NS leaves Bama when and where he wants to. He will NEVER be fired unless he murders half the team. And even then they’ll hire the best defense attorneys in the nation to defend him. And if he goes to jail…he’ll coach from jail. If I had to venture a guess…he’s probably around for 5-8 more years. Hope I’m wrong though.

I want Tennessee to be different and I believe they will be. Too much tradition and power. It’s feared
That has nothing to do with what I said . . . Pretending a road game in Tuscaloosa is a referendum on a coach is off the wall. That's the kind of thing you say about a 3-3 team going to Starkville.

That’s the kind of thing a 3-3 South Carolina teams says when they go on the road to Starkville. Not Tennessee my friend. Tennessee expects to go to Tuscaloosa and and beat the Crimson Tide, on any given year, but especially now.

I hope we’re fortunate enough to score two touchdowns and string together maybe three fgs. I think we need to hold Bama to 20 or less pts to have a shot at winning. That, or Joe needs everything to all of a sudden click and have the game of his life. Not interested in seeing anymore overly rehearsed end zone dances over a single TD against the backdrop of a plethora of bad mistakes.

We all WANT TN to be different and we ARE different than we saw under previous coaches.

If TN loses a close one to Bama in Tuscaloosa (Vegas line is AL -8.5) it's not the end of the world.

If we get a 40 burger dropped on us and we only score about 14, that's concerning.

Tradition doesn't actually win ballgames or we'd have done a lot better in recent years.

If we win by 2 TDs or more, Saban is gone.

IMO
Gone where? Maybe to California to land his next 5 star recruit?

They were a Jameson Williams injury away from embarrassing UGA yet again only a mere 21 months ago. You think 2 seasons of only winning 11ish games is gonna erase away 6 national Titles for Bama fans? Get real dude.

They have a bye week after us. He might be in FL at his new beachfront mansion. It's getting chilly to hit the lake in GA.

Where he won't be is on the "hot seat."

Saban will announce it before his last season. Barring a medical episode, he won't step down mid-season or even at the end of a season.

The Bama fans I hang out with some, and yes their are some nice ones, the one thing concerning them about Saban's retirement is he has bought a house in FL and they believe it is for his retirement. But they think he will retire once he wins 1 more NC as that will put him over the Bear in NC's and give him the most NC's at AL.

Just telling some of the thoughts about it here in Tide Land.
In three seasons he will almost certainly pass Bryant in total wins as the Bama HC.
If he leaves before that i will be very surprised

I think you meant “when” not “if”. Might as well be confident if you’re going to go in on a bold prediction.
