If we win out, should we go to NCG?

I do not think any of the currently undefeated Big East teams deserve to be in the BCSNC game. None of those teams have any sort of signature win agaisnt a quality opponenet (L'ville's win over Miami looks pertty weak at this point) and beating up on one another in the weakest BCS conference should not qualify.

Sorry...but as a Florida fan I'd like it to happen to us also...but there are too many undefeated and one loss teams out there and out of ohio state and michigan only one of them is gonna have a loss and thats when they play each other...the SEC is out of kuck again

I don't think anything short of a guaranteed national title berth will please SEC fans...

Either way, for us to make the national title..

What we have to do: Win out, make SEC title game and win.

Florida must lose another SEC game.

West Virginia, Louisville and Rutgers must all beat eachother.

USC must beat Cal by more than about 10.

USC must beat Notre Dame.

USC may need to have another Pac-10 loss.

Texas needs to lose the Big XII title game.

The Ohio State vs. Michigan winner must win by more than about 14.

I suppose that about covers it... Even then it's a so-so shot.

I think the SEC is the best in the country. But NO WAY should a 1 loss SEC team trump an undefeated team from another BCS conference.

Undefeated is undefeated.

Flame away if you will, but if the roles were reversed and your undefeated team was left out and a 1 loss team was in you would cry about it. And legitamatly so.

Instead of talking about ways we could back in to a national championship game, look at our remaining schedule. Have you seen what we have remaining? Have you?

One game at a time guys.

a way it could happen withOUT TN in the SECCG is a lose by fl to fsu. unlikely as it sounds, fl would still play for an SEC title but would be behind a 1 lose tn team and if ark only loses to ut coming in, then auburn and tn (by winning out of course) would be the top ranked SEC teams in the BCS with neither playing in atl.

i'm not saying this is likely at all, but possible. and i think auburn's sos would keep them behind ut.

if all other teams knock on another out, the problem will remain a close mich/osu game.

i'd just like to see 4 wins in the next four games by tn, and let things fall as they may.

Yeah. LSU. IMO Arkansas is one of the most overrated teams in the country.

If everyone else ahead of us loses, then yes...

However, if Michigan and Tosu are undefeated when they face off, and the game is decided by 6 points or less, I think they should face each other in the BCS National Championship Game. I know this will not happen, however, they are clearly the two best teams in the nation.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they are clearly the two best. I'll wait until I see them play each other. If Michigan gets embarrassed, I'm not going to say they are still better than Florida. I think you have to look at how teams perform in their big games. Until those two meet, neither of them have played their biggest game.

So? Plenty of poor teams have had great runningbacks. Does it make them good? No. I think the piggies have gotten way too much run for beating Auburn.

The fact that Auburn had trouble stopping the Razorback rushing attack doesn't make me feel all that confident that we will be able to do it well. I'm just hoping we don't have a slow first half. We need to score quickly on them so they will be forced to pass the ball. If we can do that, Mustain will make mistakes, yada yada. Game over.

Auburn's defense didn't even get off the bus. Incidentally, Ark's high ranking will probably ensure our guys don't overlook McFadden, who is pretty much the only player worth worrying about on that whole team.

Felix Jones is good. They have a really good wide receiver named Monk, too. I'm sure we won't overlook McFadden, but that doesn't mean we will be able to stop him. We haven't really shut down a running back since Marshawn Lynch came to town.

IMO Jones is one of those cases with a backup having inflated stats because of having a great talent in front of him. It happens quite often. Not saying he's terrible, though.

That could be the case. I actually thought that helped Arian Foster out last year before Riggs got hurt. However, Felix has been pretty good in the return game, as well. I think he had some decent games before McFadden returned from injury this year -excluding his atrocious turnover-fest against USC.

I'm not writing off this year, but we have a brutal schedule left with LSU and Arkansas, then our two big rivalries at the end of the year...I am thinking we win three of these, ending up at 10-2...I think that's remarkable considering what happened with our line from last year...

I feel for the seniors, because I think we have a real shot next year at the whole deal...

Our two biggest rivalries are UK and Vandy? I seem to remember that Alabama and Florida are traditionally pretty big rivals. Also that Spurrier guy isn't too well-liked.

I agree with everyone having to lose but Texas. Texas' computer ranking is awful right now and with the teams they have left to play its not gonna get much better.

If Tennessee somehow ends up 11-1 and the other teams start losing and it ends up with Texas and Tennessee back to back in the polls, then we would jump them b/c our computer rating is gonna jump big if we beat LSU and Arkansas. Wow what a run-on sentence.
