Seriously? We have the most paranoid fanbase. Can we please just let this situation play out before making threads based on assumptions?

Im not paranoid, and not really worried if he does leave. We can easily get a worthy replacement. I mean dont get me wrong, I would like to keep the staff the way it is, but if Wilcox leaves it wont be the end of the world

When Wilcox leaves after the Bowl game. Steele and LT will be the most likely candidates to take over the DC position. I think Brad Scott is more the key to Bellamy than anyone else so IDK that Steele helps that much. Scott may be fired after the Bowl game though.

Not understanding how we are just going to poach Steele at will, weren't able to before.

The only way Steele would help is if thats the first sign to Dabo going down. Pretty sure Bellamy is closer to Scott and Napier than anyone and as long as they are there, so is he.

Does it help our chances with landing Bellamy? I know hes a DC, but it could still help.

What would help is Clemson get killed in their bowl game and Dabo gets fired!! Brad Scott is Bellamy recruiter not sure how much Steele would help. Now maybe Lateek Townsend he probably could help in getting him.

If Clemson gets killed... why would UT want their DC?

how many threads about DCs leaving or coming in can this site possibly make?

The more the merrier. Pick a random DC, say a good source told you he had talked to UT about the job off the record, and see how many replies you get.

If, if, if, if, if does this not get old?? Sad to say but I find myself in the pub and endzone more than the football forum anymore.

It's not that much of a stretch. All signs point to Wilcox heading to Texas and Steele would surely be a legitimate candidate to replace him.

Yeah, the flood of experts kinda hurts the info and intelligent discussion on the, main boars.

If Steele takes a **** at a recruits house, will it help recruiting?

You don't think changing defensive coordinators could have an impact on recruiting?

Be careful, making sense around here will get you no where.

I think all this unfounded gossip can have a negative effect on recruiting. JMO

Unfounded gossip? It's not like the Wilcox reports originated here. And I think it's safe to call it more than gossip at this point.
