Would any recruits follow him to Rocky Top (especially DT's since there is a big need here)? I know absolutely nothing about Boise State except their home field is blue, so don't flame me for asking...

I wouldn't think so--but I like the hire---the guy seems like he's ready for a shot with the big timers...

Looking that way but with all the screw ups I've seen from our media let's hold off a little bit.

They normally Boise runs a 4-3 but ran a 4-2-5 part of last year because they were rebuilding their front 7 and had so many really good DBs (returned 4 starters).

Kinda odd that recruits are too. Wonder what gives?

Every recruit in America knows that BSU is a giant killer. They played two ranked teams this past year, TCU and Oregon. They allowed the Ducks 152 total yards. UofO went on to finish 2nd in the Pac 10 in total O.

They held TCU to 308 yards and 10 pts- 150 below their avg and 28 pts under their scoring avg. They were 1st in the MWC ahead of BYU, Utah, and AFA.

They finished 14th nationally in total D and their numbers were inflated in games where they were blowing their opponent out (Looks like they played back ups).

The common thread I've seen with several of the DC possibilities that have been mentioned is they've proven they can do more with less and coach guys up.
