Has a very good season and plays good against the big boys. Who thinks he will get a shot at the NFL draft?

There's a reasonably good chance that he's drafted late or gets a FA tryout.

Zero chance if he can't find a way to be more consistently accurate with the deep ball. Guys who throw bubble screens don't get drafted.

Other than the deep ball, this guy is so much better now.

If Simms can make it, surely Worley can. He has the size for a prototypical pro style QB in the NFL.

No chance he gets drafted. Lacks NFL arm strength and is too inaccurate on the deep ball and to moving targets.

Size means little if you can't make the throws. And him running the read option isn't helping.

Hopefully he improves with every game this year and makes all the tough throws. I hope the best for Worley.

<snip>. Crompton went in 5th round. Matt Simms is on the roster of an NFL team for the 3rd straight year, and even Nick Stephens and BJ Coleman were on NFL rosters for a couple of seasons.

He's playing well right now, if he keeps it up he'll be a top 10-12 QB to come out and have the potential to be a late rounder.

I think he could get drafted if he continues to show out and improve as the season progresses. He's improved drastically from last year and has hit receivers in routes he NEVER would've last year.

He's not accurate on the deep ball because the O-line isn't giving him enough time yet. Go back to a couple years ago when he was subbing for an injured Bray and watch his deep throws. They were excellent, and the sideline reporters noted Worley's NFL strength arm due to the speed he was throwing the ball. He's only gotten better since then.

I think he has a good chance to play in the NFL.

He looks NFL caliber when he sets his feet and throws a 15 slant. He looks high school caliber when he throws off his back foot, a guaranteed short hopper

Worley might make a NFL practice squad or play in the CFL, but there's not enough there right now to say that he's an NFL caliber player.

Ok. Good morning to you as well.

He won't make it unless he can take North with him.

He would have to improve a LOT and put up gaudy numbers to even get drafted, at this point. Kind of a Jonathon Crompton sort of path. Nobody expected much by his senior year, but surprised. Chances are pretty slim, IMHO. 200 something yds passing against mid-major programs ain't going to draw attention from any NFL scouts.

How about 275+ in Norman?

Worley played well these last two games in system that has him throwing a bunch of passes at the line of scrimmage. Do the names Colt Brennan, BJ Symons and Timmy Chang ring a bell? What happened to those record setting players?

Worley has a lot to prove in terms of arm strength and making even intermediate level throws, let alone deep passes.

Only one of those players was drafted...read the question before you call someone an idiot otherwise you look like...

the team might be better 2-0 last tw seasons against the cupcakes, Worley still is not an adequate back-up. sure would be nice to eat crow about that....He still cannot throw the deep ball
