I don't know if Pitino lied to his boss or not. If I remember correctly (while I hate cheaters) I believe his fling was a one time thing, and again, did not lie to his bosses. If he didn't, he would still be at L'Ville.

Yes, one time fling...with pregnancy, though. He was forthcoming with U of L, his family, and the press...once caught. She was a gold-digging black-mailer who got her just desserts. Not excusing his behavior, but sounds like a completely different situation than Petrino's.

My favorite line is every news story quoting Petrino's description of it as a "previous inappropriate relationship." LOL. "Previous" since when? The accident???

Petrino - Yes (and if I'm an AD, I don't hire this guy in the first place. Indeed has Arkansas playing well and that's the important thing but embarassing the university is the reason that they put that clause in the contract)

Ricky P - For sure! He's a legend and I hated the guy at Lexington but he was a good coach (still is) but you can't do that being in his position.

Bruce - Afraid so. Don't lie and make our university look bad.

I know these guys aint preachers or anything holy like that but they are in a position that respresents the university and can't do dumb stuff like this. I'd be all willing to give people a second chance but geez.
