If you could pick one coach from another SEC school to sit at Barnes side the rest of season. Who?

Gates is doing very well at Mizzou, but I don’t see that style of play fitting in with Barnes’ defensive style. Don’t see them as a match

yea I wouldn’t want anyone really messing with what Tennessee has going on. Maybe just consulting, something fresh/new.

He seems to have brought some excitement and gotten that team really motivated……that’s all I want, that’s all I think this team needs to do.

The wizard of Westwood, John Wooden, ... Oh, you wanted who was alive ....
Alright then, Phil Jackson??? ... ooooooh, HAS to be an SEC coach.
I will go against the the trendy pick of Oats and I will take ... Eric Musselman.
In all seriousness, I think he brings something to the table that Rick does not have ... which is actual NBA coaching experience.

Calapari

He can’t talk though. He’s just gotta sit there and hold Barnes’ pocket.

Sad thing is , Nate Oats will be Kentuckys coach next year . If that happens , the SEC better watch out . That would be a scary combo IMO.

Virginia's: Tony Bennett -- Recruiting and Coaching is cut-throat in the ACC... Going from One year as the Over-All #1 seed & losing to #16 UMBC / To the Next Year winning the National Championship takes EXTREME Guts & Leadership! He is a Class-Act all the way......

But, I wouldn't trade him for our "stability" with Ric Barnes......

Edit: Sorry -- I didn't read the whole thread....... But, I still admire the guy.

Oats has to be the only correct answer. Also I don't see how Bama will be able to keep him once the blue bloods start coming for him. I'd imagine he'd be at the top of the list of choices. I hope and pray if Cal were to leave UK that they wouldn't get him.

We do not want Oats at Kentucky.

We want Cal at Kentucky for another 10+ years.
