Fiji, Bora Bora . Basically somewhere amazing in the South Pacific. Within the states. New England in the fall, Colorado, and Alaska.

My wife and I visited Bali in 2005. We stayed in Sanur. We learned to avoid the aggressive hawkers pursuing tourists to buy their wares. The highlands, the coast away from the developed south are lovely.

The past few years, the missus and I have been focused on bicycle tours in Europe and supported rides in the US.

Highly recommend it. One thing you should do is trail ride on horseback up into the Gros Ventres Mountains. When the wife and I do so, we reached a bald peak from which we could see the Tetons and the Snake River ranges. We were there in June, and the wildflowers were in bloom, including a plethora of yellow ones locals call mules' ears.

Yosemite/Sequoia/Kings Canyon in Cali then head up the coast of Oregon for more beautiful scenery then east thru Idaho and into Montana for Glacier and Yellowstone. Outside the US I really enjoyed Nepal, Taiwan, and Philippines. Personally found Thailand overrated. Bali is decent once you get out of the area around the airport.

Phillipines was great back in the 80's. Not so safe today. the women were as formidable as the scenery.

Scotland was awesome. Wales and British countryside beautiful too.

Israel is a great vacation spot as long as the Hamas missiles aren't flying:cool:
