According to the great resource that is wiki, Naismith moved to Denver four years after inventing basketball in Massachusetts. You'd think KY fans would know that.

Yes, it was Massachusetts, but if I'm not mistaken it wasn't played for the first time until he was in Denver. I'm not sure what wiki says
