Why would I? Come September, we'll see where Cleveland is and be able to assess the comments in this thread and their veracity. No reason to say much now.

Since they got a bunch of wins early against the Red Sox and the White Sox and Twins are far worse than they should be, probably. However, look at their performance in the first half last year. They are perfectly capable of losing 2 of every 3 for 2 and a half months.

The Tribe is on fire. Their play since June 1st shows how wrong I was about the quality of that team. They are awesome. The Red Sox and Rangers have to be petrified at the prospect of seeing them in the postseason.

Not really. You think the Red Sox and Twins, to name two cuplrits, aren't ashamed of their early season play? Cleveland is a lousy team that caught a break playing teams that struggled early. Their play the last two months is who they are. Would you like to wager whether or not they finish above .500?

Of course they aren't going to win the World Series. Hell, there's a decent chanc ethey don't finish above .500. However, they are better than what everyone thought they would be (including me).

Which is why the rest of the AL, and especially the NL teams they played in interleague, should feel shame. Letting a team that lousy get around 20 games over .500 at any point is a disgrace.

With Boston on the horizon next week, Cleveland better roll Kansas City this weekend or they'll be in serious freefall.

They will still need to lose the rest of their games to reach the Cav's status.

Man, the AL Central is straight-up awful all around. The winner of the division might hit 85 wins, but I doubt it'll be much more than that.
