Am I the only one that thinks we should stop calling it "circle of life"? Sounds soft and Butch is gone. Motion for a new name.
I heard JP mention him the other day and how he has taken advantage of the extra reps while players were out for contact tracing.
Hubbs said earlier this kid will see the field in some form or fashion this year.
Back in this thread somewhere I recall coaches having to swap up holding the pads when they first ran across him as he was hitting that hard.
He was a favorite recruit of mine cause he committed to us and never waived on his commitment even when his teammate went to aTm. He wouldn’t even let other coaches in his house. Luv it for the young man.
Its almost October. I can type out another positive post then!View attachment 307225
Keep this positivity going, Cat

Opinion on this kid as a prospect?
Took schools a minute cause he’s not the prototype body but he’s super aggressive, actually very flexible, and his kicked everyone’s tail I’ve seen them put in front of him for two years. He got 15 offers last weekend after schools saw him at Lindenwood. He’s a pure football player. Meanest OL in the Midwest this year IMO.
247Sports’ director of recruiting Barton Simmons recognized Spraggins...with one of his SEC superlatives during the 247Sports Signing Day Show, calling him the “meanest offensive lineman” among SEC signees. “I think Javontez Spraggins is awesome in terms of what he does at the point of attack — just nasty,” Simmons said.
... East St Louis is actually pretty well known Nationally. They've had many seasons were they went undefeated and ended the season National Ranked. Also Spragginz had a teammate that was top 150 Safety prospect .Same. He was a nobody toiling in obscurity in East St. Louis completely under the radar of the recruiting services. Now he looks like he may play on the o-line in the SEC as a true freshman. He may end up being our version of The Blindside.
