They could have possibly been a package deal that coach Pruitt accepted. That doesn't seem to be his style, but both players appear to be of a higher caliber, so who knows. I see Spraggins' stock doing nothing but rising in the near future, too.

Why would 2 high caliber players be part of a package deal?

Yes. Drop the package deal ****. They were blown away by Spraggins and offered on the spot.
Exactly. In the Spraggins thread an analyst mentioned that if they were willing to take Spraggins while being in on the linemen they are, and with a limited number of spots, it should speak for itself.

Yup. Probably made one or two of the guys we're looking at take notice...

Why wouldn't they? Maybe, because they want to play together at the next level and some schools may not need a safety where as they do need an offensive lineman or vice versa? IDK, I just know there's package deals every single cycle and Spraggins hasn't hit the big-time yet. Coach Pruitt may know that it's coming, but it hasn't happened quite yet. Spraggins is still listed at around the 900th best Prospect in the nation the last time I checked.

No. 1 RB Zachary Evans a 'package deal' with new Tide commit

I'm just saying it's a possibility, not a fact.

Not a package deal. What I think happened is we had a relationship with the safety. His coach probably said “Hey, the safety’s coming up, you might want to take a look at this guard we got. He just started camping and is making noise.” Staff said sure..... Spraggins makes the trip. Staff sees a sliver of what we saw in the highlights. Offered on the spot.

I mean, we’re not willing to guarantee Jabari Small a spot to land Omari. Why are people so quick to think we’d do it for these two?

Last year Auburn offered Wanya’s teammate, the center, to get in good. Pruitt didn’t even offer a PWO. Now we’re supposed to believe our first OL commit is a throwaway?

I think its a package deal. I have no problem with it either. UT has been bad the last few years. If this is what he's got to do, then so be it. Hopefully the other recruit turns out to be the real deal

Signed,
An usual suspect
