Maybe he really was considering us, but Ohio State slightly beat us out? I’m sure this staff put the full court press on him. We still have a long way to go to consistently beat out top schools for recruits. Hopefully NIL will help us get there quicker, but we still have a long way to go both in terms of winning and getting guys drafted in the 1st and 2nd rounds. The simple fact is OSU has become almost like a minor league organization for NFL WRs. Sure our staff did a great job a developing Tillman, Payton, and Jones. There’s a huge difference in money and opportunity at a long term career in going in day 2-3 or signing a free agent deal and going in the first round thoughDon't know what really took him so long to commit. Life long OSU fan and wanted to play there since he was a kid. take a OV or 2, commit and move on.
Wonder how much time did staff really pursue this guy
Michael Thomas Is the only one that’s been good in the leagueMaybe he really was considering us, but Ohio State slightly beat us out? I’m sure this staff put the full court press on him. He’ll want to be here in a year or two anywaysWe got played by a high schooler
When we gonna learn ??? No sour grapes, life goes on. We’ve said it before, we don’t need the drama anyways - and looks like he’s a drama queen. Not gonna wish him bad, but I want to see MEN here who WANT to be here. Period.
I asked him if he was implying that the collective associated with Tennessee just gave him a lot of money. He deleted the tweet soon after. Tired of the baseless "LOL Tennessee" posts by the "professionals" and "experts." We lost out on a great recruit, and most (mature) fans can handle that. It's a part of the game. But to pile on with a joke at our expense that implies that we won't be refunded. For what exactly? Come out with it.L tweet but W lady
Terry McLaurin too and they’ve put Paris Campbell and Curtis Samuel in the league and just had 2 WRs drafted in the first round and could’ve had 3. It’s not necessarily all that appealing whether or not they become all pro WRs as much as it is they get first round money and are in the league long enough to get good contractsMichael Thomas Is the only one that’s been good in the league
It's like anything else. A person has a chance to do their life long dream, buy their dream car or home, even when there are better choices they pick their dream ____ because it's the thing they've always wanted.
