‘23 IL WR Carnell Tate (Ohio State commit)

That's why Nico is going to be a great leader and QB for TN. Guys on the phone making relationships and talking about things other than come to TN & football.
Guy like that is going to make the team as a whole want to play better

That’s why getting a QB of Nicos caliber in the boat early is so important and crucial. I know some don’t like Nicos “swag” so to speak, but he seems like a really good kid with natural leadership qualities.

WTF? Who doesn’t like a QB with swagger?
They need to start following Vandy football then, imo.
GBO!!

Facts. A QB with no swag to him is not a confident one. If he's a good kid and has natural swag in addition to the talent and work ethic it usually translates to a natural leader that people want to be around

Yeah he's up at the top for sure, don't know what position but hes a beast
Percy Harvin/Deebo Samuel type of player that can play both WR and RB. I think if they whiff on Webb and Cobb they should pursue him at the RB slot and then try to get one on the portal

You want a confident and smart quarterback. It’s a shame, young people think Bray was one of Tennessee’s best quarterbacks because he had a strong arm. But he wasn’t a good leader and didn’t have the discipline, sadly it wasn’t till he was older that he realized it. He had confidence but it was misplaced and he didn’t make people around him better. We have had many great on field leaders with confidence. From Holloway to Robinson to Kelly to Shuler to Manning to Martin to Clausen to Dobbs to Hooker. All had confidence whether it was a quiet to more vocal you could tell they were in control of the moment. Confidence and attitude and then ones ability are the 3 things that are most important. I think Nico will be a great leader when it is his turn. I also like Tayven Jackson, he is quietly putting in some good work. GBO!

Bray was nowhere near one of our best. You are right the only thing he had was a strong arm. He wasn’t accurate and couldn’t make the big time plays when needed.

JMO but I'm not really that worried about losing Tate.If we can add him that's great, but his film is okay nothing jaw dropping.I like Anthony Brown,Rogers,Hyatt just as much. Now Tate could take off this senior year n really turn into something special, but I won't lose sleep if he goes elsewhere as much as we like to have him.Man id take those Stacks of cash n toss them on the oline qnd the defenze. Also he's gonna take some time to decide.Would u hold q spot for him over say Hyatt or Rogers?Who knows really
Tate is far better than all those guys imo.
Brown looks like a game breaker, but I wouldn't trade Tate for him.

Kasper is the only guy that is equal to or better than Tate imo

Once the rest of the 4 and 5 star commits roll in on offense, the defense will follow. Long way to December. Should be a 4 star or two commit on defense before the end of the month.
Defensive players noticed the Nico commitment every bit as much as offensive guys. Great players want to play with great players, no matter the side of the ball, no matter what.

Nico's commitment, and everything swirling about it, put EVERYONE on notice.

Who doesn’t like it? Haven’t seen anyone say that
