I agree with the guy that said the number of posts or years registered isn't a measure of your fandom. It's the size and location of your tailgate that really matters.

Again, when a fan says that they are done with the Vols, they have pretty much given up their fan card themselves.

I don't know how you can call out a complete stranger on whether or not they're a "true fan." I haven't been spending money on UT for 30 years, because I'm only 22. I hardly remember the glory days, but I'm a true fan. I'm behind this hire 100%, was it my 1st choice, no. But do I back Coach Jones? Absolutely. I haven't been a season ticket holder but 2 years because my family couldn't afford it. But I'm thankful for the opportunity now. I will continue my small contribution because I love the Vols! The gist of this rant is there are true fans and not true fans. If you jump ship you might not be a true fan, but I'm not going to call you out. And those who have been fans the longest shouldn't call out young fans for not being fans long enough. JMO, GO VOLS!
