It will air at Midnight for me while I'm there, but of course that ain't gonna stop me from watching my Vols take out the Gators in the Swamp.

I'm curious if anyone knows if I will have any problems watching it. I have an ESPN account, but is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to pull it up? If they have a Roku or Firestick at the Airbnb that would be ideal obviously, I just didn't know if there's any kind of ESPN blackout since I'll be overseas.

I believe you can just watch it on YouTube. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I've watched several football and basketball games when I'm not at home

Unfortunately, you might have a problem watching it live. ESPN used to offer ESPN Player here and you could buy a month of that and stream whatever you wanted, but ESPN player will be defunct at the end of August. Hulu nor YouTube TV work over here. Even with a VPN. USTVGO used to be an option, but that no longer exists.

I have never had any luck streaming games live on YouTube (maybe there is a trick to it I don't know). I'm sure there are some sketchy pirate sights, but they are sketchy and I haven't even had any luck with the ones I have tried. I have been told that a jailbroken Firestick will work, but I haven't tried. London Vol may have some good advice, but as far as I know, your best bet is to avoid the score, get up first thing Sunday morning and watch Freak's game post. That's what I plan to do. Freak does a terrific job editing out the commercials. Thanks a million Freak!!

ESPN you might have problems based on Region restrictions. But there are other means. I've been viewing games from India, Belgium, Switzerland for the last 10 odd years. Get in touch if you don't find anything at the time.

I am currently in Braunschweig, Germany and will be here for the foreseeable future. I have no idea how to watch the games live either, Freaks YouTube replay is my only hope right now.

If you VPN back to the US, ESPN still doesn't work?

If it does work, you can download Express VPN on a firestick and set your location to a US city and then log into your espn account. ~$30 for the firestick and ~$10 for a month of express vpn.

It does work, and this is by far the best option if you have ESPN at your house stateside. Activate the VPN and pick somewhere like New York/Rhode Island/New Hampshire, sign into ESPN with your cable provider and proceed. As Blitz mentioned, there used to be a straightforward option called ESPN Player that is going defunct so this is really the only guaranteed way to watch. There might be a television network that will air the game (apparently was recently purchased by TNT), but that kind of sounds like a headache given the time difference and you not having control over what channels your hotel/pub have available.

Following. I’ll be on a trip to Austria/Germany/Liechtenstein for the UTSA and SC games.
I'll be in Germany/ Italy/ Prague for the same period. I wish it wasn't during football season but I'm excited for the trip. Are you going to Oktoberfest?

I've been to Europe including the UK many times thru the years during the season. Unfortunately, I could not receive any college football. It has been about 10 years since the last time so things may have changed.

WillisWG beat me to it. When I was stationed in Qatar last summer my Youtube TV did not work unless I used a VPN. I just used NordVPN. They had a special offer at the time and I got it for a full year for $50. It does slow down your connection a little and I had some buffering but for the most part it worked fine.

You should not have a lot of trouble - I was in Paris and the Scotland last year when we played Kentucky and Georgia - I was able to watch both games on YouTube. In fact, I got a pub in Auchterader, Scotland to stream the Georgia game from my phone to one of their TV’s. It was a lot of fun as the crowd got into “American football.” I knew we were in trouble though when just before the game started, on older guy walked in with his bulldog and it was wearing a red sweater - I can’t make that up. But you should be good - try to use the YouTube stream. Enjoy the trip - GBO!

I’ve never done it but maybe use a VPN with the CBS sports app?

I would take my Firestick and make sure you have the right adapter. If you put a VPN on it (I use SurfShark) you shouldn't have a problem as long as the internet speed is good.

I used IPTV on my Firestick. No problem watching any game I wanted to see from Mexico with the VPN.

Live would be Youtube TV. There is no contract. It is now $72.99 a month so you could get it while you are there and then cancel it. That is a lot of dough but cheaper than buying a ticket I guess.

I’m pretty excited too! And yeah, the dates for Oktoberfest just happened to fall during the trip so I’ll be in Munich on the 25th and 26th. Gonna spend one night in the Dolomites and two in Bratislava as well while I’m in the area. This is kind of a rough itinerary
