Maybe you guys who are streaming from YouTube and successfully using VPNs can help me out. I have tried to stream basketball and football games on YouTube and all I get are either the video with no sound (Lol, I have even streamed the radio broadcast and synced it with the video - less than ideal) or I get a channel that wants you to follow another link to "watch the game" on another site or, if I actually find a channel with a good stream and audio, it gets shut down after 10-15 minutes.

My experience with the VPNs is no better. If I try to sign into Hulu or YouTube TV without the VPN I'm told the services cannot broadcast in my region. If I try to sign in using a VPN, I'm told that the services cannot be used with a VPN. I used Surfshark last year and I'm currently using NordVPN.

If you guys know a way around these issues, I'm all ears and would be very appreciative.

I had a similar VPN problem. A VPN creates a temp IP address that temp is really a shared address and when you get numerous login attempts to a service like YouTube TV using the same ip address it will get blocked. Some VPNs aren't as good at detecting the block and correcting. Will say I changed to NordVPN and haven't had that problem since changing.

Now all you bast...don't go changing to Nord and screw things up for me.😉

It will air at Midnight for me while I'm there, but of course that ain't gonna stop me from watching my Vols take out the Gators in the Swamp.

I'm curious if anyone knows if I will have any problems watching it. I have an ESPN account, but is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to pull it up? If they have a Roku or Firestick at the Airbnb that would be ideal obviously, I just didn't know if there's any kind of ESPN blackout since I'll be overseas.
I'd check with London Vol. He would know & y'all might even get together for the game. He's a HUGE Vol fan.
Are you using NFL sunday ticket?

Let me know when you are in the UK know-town VOL (i am about 50 miles east of London) and you can contact me on londonvol55@gmail.com

Knew that LondonVol would respond. A true VFL. How are things, David?

Hi my good friend.

Been really hectic here but at least its only 17 days to my next "fix". Just really sad/frustrated/depressed/annoyed/shocked in this day and age that I don`t think I will be able to see the games (after ESPN Player shut down) until next day on You Tube and will revert back to relying on Bob Kesling during game time (back to how I started in 2009).

Despite the above, I think we are in for a great season but I will expand on that soon. "Post Code Joe" for Heisman, dont laugh it is genuinely possible.

Hello what you will need to do is download a VPN APP. Once that is done open up Yahoo or Google. Go to search type in free live sports look for Bosscat or Stream to live sports on up site look for Icon for football open look for game. Sometimes site will have little advertisements just find the little x and click on it afterwards you'll see the white triangle click on it and watch the game

I used to work in Africa (various locations) Paris, Frankfurt, Thailand and China. I used the Nord successfully in all of those locations. China prohibits FB and Thailand prohibits ESPN. Often these are not available because of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act which forbids bribes to officials. ESPN does not bribe. Anyway, I use Free VPN available from FreeVPN.org. or your app store. Good services. (My job is the reason I was in and out of Europe for 10 years, and did not pay for a single trip.)

Be sure to use the VPN before you arrive in country and log in through it continuously. You will not be able to download a VPN in restrictive countries. Also, if you are using a country specific SIM card, you may want to log in on the VPN on that card as it will not have your personal data on it.

Good luck! GBO!.

I use ProtonVPN since I moved to Germany a couple years ago. Works with all the US streaming apps.

I switched to YouTube TV last year and it worked with it. You may have to search through different servers until one works at times, but it got the job done.

What part of Germany did you move to? I am temporarily in Braunschweig right now for work.

I would take my Firestick and make sure you have the right adapter. If you put a VPN on it (I use SurfShark) you shouldn't have a problem as long as the internet speed is good.

I used IPTV on my Firestick. No problem watching any game I wanted to see from Mexico with the VPN.

Do you have a favorite IPTV?

Sorry for the ignorance, but how do I put a VPN on my firestick? Just download it like an app to the firestick itself?

Use built in app sections of your stick to download. Go to utility section, search VPN

Use a VPN if possible and it shouldn't be a problem.

About two yrs ago when Vols were in the bb WS, I was in Germany and logged in with my comcast account and watched the game using my phone. So last year when we kicked off the season I had my computer with me as I was in Iceland. This time I was using the hotel internet. It would never load. Finally I clicked on watch on ESPN. The box came up that I could subscribe for a few British pounds per month with a 7 days free trial. Heck yeah I'll take that deal. Worked perfectly. Keep that in mind when you're there.
