Nascar either does too little or too much.They have extreme measures when comes to decision making concerning anything.

That's the truth...Lately (well, last 3 years or so) the rules have seemed to change whichever way the wind blows, sometimes on a week-to-week basis.

Like with the Debris stuff this weekend, what exactly is/isn't debris, and what is/isn't enough to cause a caution?

I didn't see any of the 2nd half of the race (was working in the yard, radio was acting up, and by lap 100 i had had my DW and company fill for the season) so i don't know what the deal was in the last 30 or so, though i heard something about a caution not being thrown in an instance where one WAS thrown earlier for the same type of "debris"

I figured it up a couple days ago when they first said it'd probably be a 100 point penalty. He was 12th in points and the 100 point deduction drops him down to 54 points out of 12th. Not crippling by any means, unless of course after race 26 he's 14th in points and let's say, 72 out of 12th.

I have to politely disagree with you.....He won't win a race, however, I do think that he'll be OK( he may, where all do they have to go during Eury's suspension? I know Charlotte and Dover....Where else?)....Just because he's suspended doesn't mean that he's not going to be able to communicate with the crew at the track....54 points, like Tidwell said, isn't crippling by any means....He can make that up in one race, it'd be a different story if he started the year out like that....Jr. will still make the Chase

As of late he's been running well at those tracks with the exception of Sears Point......Which ones are COT races?? Dover, Sears Points, and New Hampshire, for sure, correct?

Correct. Pretty sure that's it for that stretch of races. They're only using it on smaller tracks as well as the road courses to start with until they race it at Talladega int he Fall.
