The majority of Americans, if asked, will tell you that they think that their FICA payroll deductions are sitting in an account and being invested to earn a return. The fact of the matter is that there is little to nothing to go into a lockbox. The cash being deducted from people's payroll checks now is being paid out to social security beneficiaries right now.

I agree. That money they are stealing from me I could be putting into my own retirement fund thereby removing me from the SS ponzi scheme fund.
