And don't forget that the Lady Vol with the most attitude ALL TIME is sitting on the bench, too. Bridgette was a brilliant choice to bring championship attitude back into the program.
I love the win, the record, etc. But.........I think we should keep in mind the truth about some of our key wins. Defeating Texas was impressive, maybe the best win of the season. We talked about Stanford and Kentucky telling where the team really was. Not so much. Down years for both those programs. South Carolina without A'ja is not the real South Carolina.
I think we'll really know who this team is after playing a wounded Notre Dame, Mississippi State, and three very dangerous (and suprisingly good) SEC opponents: Missouri, LSU, and (heavens they look like they're back) Georgia!
Very hostile from what I understood. Fans heckling our girls... nasty.
Heckling our fans as well, calling them names. SC didn't take any time to get obnoxious once they got a little success. They like to say they're "cocky" but really they're just d!cks. Lol.
I'm sure they don't like me either. 😎
They need a "Bring a friend along" campaign to fill TBA for the MSU game. 10,000 for that game would be a disgrace to Pat's memory.
Mercedes Russell would have gotten Wilson
in foul trouble, she would not made much difference. Tennessee would still have won.
Tennessee won the game by 16 points 86 - 70 Wilson would have not made 16 points different.
She may not have made a 16 point difference,I agree, but that's not what you said.
You said "would not made much difference". I think the probable POY would have made a significant difference. Enough to change who won the game ? Maybe not.
I don't know what would have happened if Wilson had played, but to say that the frontrunner for the national player of the year "would not made much difference" seems highly unlikely.
