Hopefully, Wilson will be ready for the LV-SC rematch on Feb 25. I think most of the questions about her potential impact on the first match will be answered.

And don't forget that the Lady Vol with the most attitude ALL TIME is sitting on the bench, too. Bridgette was a brilliant choice to bring championship attitude back into the program.

I love the win, the record, etc. But.........I think we should keep in mind the truth about some of our key wins. Defeating Texas was impressive, maybe the best win of the season. We talked about Stanford and Kentucky telling where the team really was. Not so much. Down years for both those programs. South Carolina without A'ja is not the real South Carolina.

I think we'll really know who this team is after playing a wounded Notre Dame, Mississippi State, and three very dangerous (and suprisingly good) SEC opponents: Missouri, LSU, and (heavens they look like they're back) Georgia!

Remember, we have a rematch with TAMU also.

Very hostile from what I understood. Fans heckling our girls... nasty.

Heckling our fans as well, calling them names. SC didn't take any time to get obnoxious once they got a little success. They like to say they're "cocky" but really they're just d!cks. Lol.

I'm sure they don't like me either. 😎

Yeah they got nasty quick. ThatÂ’s okay. The Lady Vols sent ‘em home with a case of the HUSHMOUF!!! 🤫🤐

They need a "Bring a friend along" campaign to fill TBA for the MSU game. 10,000 for that game would be a disgrace to Pat's memory.

OK, youÂ’re invited.

As to a commercial, previous admin did not want to “cheapen the product” by doing things like fan night, family tickets, cheap seats, etc. Probably would never have allowed (or spent $$ for) a commercial. Apparently they didn’t think bodies in the arena were that important. Will be interesting to see if things change with Fulmer and Davenport at the helm.

Mercedes Russell would have gotten Wilson
in foul trouble, she would not made much difference. Tennessee would still have won.

I don't know what would have happened if Wilson had played, but to say that the frontrunner for the national player of the year "would not made much difference" seems highly unlikely.

Tennessee won the game by 16 points 86 - 70 Wilson would have not made 16 points different.

She may not have made a 16 point difference,I agree, but that's not what you said.
You said "would not made much difference". I think the probable POY would have made a significant difference. Enough to change who won the game ? Maybe not.

Who knows really. 50/50 hindsight is not always revealing. Assuming Wilson would have made a difference is assuming that every other USC player played as well as they did plus adding Wilson and the cumulative would have been enough to win. Would she have made a difference....absolutely because she would have played therefor, different players played in the game. Would she have been the difference maker leading to a win....I'm not so sure. I think Tennessee has the better team this year and they may very well have the best team in the conference. We will know for sure once the next five or six games are played.

As far as the MS State and S Carolina fans being obnoxious - I'm just glad the teams have fans who care. Hate to see empty arenas at women's games. Impressed S Carolina has gone from cellar dweller with no fans to national champs with record fans. Now just want TN to supplant them on both accounts.

Wilson played last year along with 3 other first round WNBA picks, and we beat them in Columbia.

Wilson's points were replaced by the extra scoring of their point guard. I tend to agree that the outcome would've been the same had Wilson played.
