I probably will be, too.

But if I end up at a D-I school, like Oregon or Oregon State, I will probably not be playing any intercollegiate sports.

It's the study of exchange. In other words, you learn how to make people come off their wallets in return for what you've got.

Football. I'm hoping to start on defense this next season. I'm also bringing up my skills in hoops.

I don't know where though. I'm just a hair under six feet, weigh about 175, run about a 5.1 40, bench 140-ish right now (I haven't seriously worked out in forever). I'm gonna join in conditioning next week... Then we had Ben Petrick (formerly of the Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers) as our new positions coach, and I'm hearing there will be two-a-days for the entire month of July or some such number.

I might try for LB, like Dre

Ben Petrick? There's a name I haven't heard for awhile. I thought he would still be kicking around MLB. He can't be that old. That guy was THE top catching prospect for the Rockies, but he just never panned out.

Yep. He graduated from here like... 12 years ago? He's gonna take over our baseball program in a few years.

come on with the 40 time. I'm 6'3" 240, but I don't play football, I could probably run a 5ish 40 time and bench 170.

I'm 5'8" 190, run a 6.0+ in the 40 and haven't bench pressed anything heavier than a 12 oz can in a couple of years.

Five flat? That's pretty intense... When I got that time, I was running in skating shoes. I just tightened them down, but I can guarantee you they don't exactly give you the best start.

And I have no excuse for the bench, I just don't work out enough. I'm sure I can get it way up there after 6 or 7 weeks, though.

If you're in high school running a 5.0 at 240 lbs, you need to go find the football field and ask where the fullbacks and tight ends are practicing.

Really, I just like wearing the uniforms. I hate practice, but I love playing the games.

I haven't worked out in a month. I love football, I just can't make myself play at school. In 8th grade I got hit in the side of the knee, tried to play on it (not a good call). It still bothers me to this day. BTW, I play golf lol.

That looks like a really nice field/stadium for a high school.

there's no point, my high school team is horrible. I couldn't get a scholarship anywhere.
