If you're in high school running a 5.0 at 240 lbs, you need to go find the football field and ask where the fullbacks and tight ends are practicing.

there's no point, my high school team is horrible. I couldn't get a scholarship anywhere. [/quote]
You live near Dallas, right? Go start working out there.

Our team got eliminated first round, as the only reasons we were good were Ainge and a first team all-state athlete that plays baseball at Oregon State now. Ainge got noticed by working out in Portland.

That looks like a really nice field/stadium for a high school.

Liberty High School. Still not the nicest field in our league. My school and our cross-town rivals, Hillsboro High School (HilHi) share Craig Reucker Field (named after Glencoe's former head coach -- 17 playoff appearances in 22 years and two state titles) which is super-nice. And another school, Century High School, plays at Hillsboro Stadium which is REALLLLY nice.

It's hard to compete with our DL being about 6' 220. Tyler Lee had a 315 pounder that is going to LSU next year.

You're a sophomore in HS? With that kind of forty time and your size, all you'd need is to learn some good blocking technique (very doable between now and September) and you'd make a mean blocking back.

I'm a junior.

I've got mad hands ;) :p . I don't have the desire to play. The golf career is going pretty good, 4 top 10 finishes this summer.

I'm just going back for my senior season. I wasn't able to make the time commitment my sophomore year and this year, but next year I should be able to. It'll be something good for my senior yearbook, help me with college admissions, not to mention nothing more that I love than making a big tackle.

I agree with the big tackle. Plus, playing on the high school football can get you out of traffic tickets here. (heard numerous stories)

cmon boys i was 6'5 265 my senior year and ran a 4.86 you gotta be faster than that milo

I can shave a lot off my time. 5/5.1, like I said, was in skating shoes on a waxed floor. Getting a good start is not exactly the easiest that way. I need to clock myself on turf. If I'm not running sub-5 that way, I'd be shocked.

Last time I played, I was about 5'7" and 200 lbs.
