I'm all for keeping the redshirt. Petermans performance was in no way worse than Dobbs....and it was against a healthy (then) top 10 defense. Dobbs couldn't perform against a vandy defense with all 4 starters missing at DB!!! Excuse that one away...I'm all ears.

I agree having Carter, Johnson, Croom, and a 5'8" Howard isn't the most exciting thing to throw to.

The guy has an arm; not an amazing arm, but a decent arm.

It was clear what happened. He got overexcited at the begining of the game an made a bad decision. Then, he threw the ball behind (Croom I think) and got another INT. From that point on, the coaching staff abandoned the passing game except for the occasional screen. The two semi vertical pass plays were on the hit the receivers in the hands but dropped.

With Vandy down to their second string across the board in the backfield, the 10-15 yard passing plays of the playbook should have never been taken off the table; would have helped open up the running game as well. The offensive staff refuses to utilize the slant pass. It is beyond me.

Are you kidding? He couldn't get the ball in the endzone from 55 yards away. I can do that. I promise...I took my 100 ft tape and sprayed out 10yd increments in front of my house so my 12 yr old son, myself and his friends can run 40s, throw football etc. I am 5 ft 11 in and about 160lbs. 36 years old. Dobbs cannot based on that throw, throw a football as far as I can. He is freaking joke...an absolute joke who now has 6 int. And ZERO passing tds in his career. If butch starts him against UK I am officially jumping off the Jones bandwagon. Freaking ridiculous

so with a helmet that weighs a few pounds and shoulder pads. plus you don't throw in a straight line so add the diagonal yards it adds more. I'm betting you quite don't make a better a throw

EVERY QB in the MAC is better than this kid.

The QB of the worst high school team in my area can throw it 55 yards.
