I'm More Optimistic After Florida

I think it will be difficult for this team to pick up 3 wins in November. Unless our skill players and QB play improve drastically, I think Auburn, Mizzou and even Vandy will be tough. We'll probably be underdogs in all three games. Hard work can't give Worley talent he just doesn't have, and he's probably our starter. My optimism has downshifted after seeing us play the worst UF team I've seen in a long time. We might have hung in four quarters, but we were outplayed in all of them and failed to capitalize on a whole game full of opportunities that were handed to us.

I think Vandy is suffering too, especially on D and QB. They also have their own scandal to deal with and it involves a young girl.

We should be able to beat Vandy and KY. Auburn and Mizzou will be much tougher. We need our defense to play as good as it did against FL and our offense to get at least 450 yards a game and no more than 2 turnovers in a game. Auburn was overmatched but didn't quit on LSU. Mizzou still hasn't been tested.

We have a veteran OL this year with only one projected returner for the 2014 season, frankly I've been disappointed in their play so far. I expected them to be leading this team and they're showing up being mediocre. I believe that fact alone puts us in position for having a tougher season a year out than this one is, hope I'm wrong about it. No matter, I believe we'll see solid gains the 2015 season and good things come 2016, it is going to take that kind of time as we have fallen so far behind on getting the kind of talent in place to support the kind of program we expect. Flame on haters.
