I'm not gonna bring it up again

Hope the kid learned a good life lesson. It's one thing to leave your brothers. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do. It's another thing to turn your back and go to our biggest, most hated rival. I got no sympathy whatsoever. That humble pie tasted so sour it had him balling. You love to see it.

I understand what you are saying DD, but I don’t think he had a choice about staying or going. He was part of the cleansing process. But the fact that after he was told to leave he chose a hated rival does kinda piss a guy off.

While the picture of Lyle smoking a cigar annoys me, I really don't have a lot of animosity towards Henry T. He was recruited by a moron . Once he gets here, Slingblade McSkoalcan is fired (or fah-red, as he would say) and the players caught up in the mess that idiot created were likely given a chance to transfer or be booted.

Henry T going to Bama is grating, but remember they were second in his recruitment.

All in all, my anger is directed at Slingblade and Lyle. The kids did what they needed to do to preserve their shots at the show. Can't fault them for that.

You said it way better than did. Thanks to a fellow NW Vol.

I want another shot at UGA too. But I was listening to a podcast before the UGA game and they had a beat writer from Tuscaloosa as a guest. He said he thought UGA would win because they have elite athletes on defense and 60 minutes of tape from the Bama game on what not to do against UT. I was really feeling a UT win until I really started to think about that statement. I'm with you on the adjustments. I'd like to see what we would do differently and if we could make UGA have to change what they want to do. Really hope we get them again.

If we played them again, we would get beat worse. They would not let the foot off the gas in the second half and there would be no rain to slow down their offense.

I call it like it is. He took money and f***** his team. He is one of the reasons Bamas losing.

While I see your point. I also would ask how do we know on field that has split crowd noise instead of the one Ainge trolled and they answered the bell. Several of those false starts from crowd were drive killers. Then pair in that punt what are the odds of a disastrous event like those sequences. We may not win but to say we would get beaten worse is hard to believe. I feel Georgia would have to continue to play in the 3rd and 4th more aggressively than the first go round. I see little chance we shoot ourselves in the foot the way we did in Sanford on a neutral field.

TwoToes is going to see them again on TV, where he will be counting his leftover Pruitt Bucks he had hidden in his McDonalds bag under his bed......

Ga does have higher rated players everywhere, a few more dominant players, played at home and haven’t been “taxed” emotionally at all this year. They finally had a game to get excited about. They’d beat any college team in the country last Saturday and I mean any team. But I’ve always gone by the saying “you’re not always as good as you are at your best or as bad as you are at your worse”. I wouldn’t regret a rematch.

Don't think for a second Vince Dooley dying just before our game was not a factor used by Kirby, it was. His emotional after the game interview about kids loving the place was vintage Dooley. He won't have that if we see them again.

Interesting. Obviously he thought bama would make it back to the championship but he must've also thought we're better than the Georgia team that beat them last year

LSU is an underdog at Arky this week. If they lose, Bama beats Ole Miss, and suddenly there are 3 West teams with 2 loses ( is the tide turning back to the East). Last game of regular season LSU has to play aTm. A lose there and Ala is in the SEC Champ Game.
Not too far fetched.

Just for accuracy sake, LSU is not a 'dog this weekend. Vegas has 'em as a 3 point favorite.

If that occurs, LSU is still in the SEC championship due to their H2H wins over both AL and Ole Miss....LSU has one SEC loss, so would need to have 2 more SEC losses to be at risk if Bama beats Ole Miss.

However, if LSU has one more SEC loss and Ole Miss wins out....then Ole MIss would be in SEC Championship game.

Wouldn't that just be a mess.

To know that his chance at ever winning a natty is over and the Vol's are still in the race makes me a happy man!

ANYBODY who thinks Georgia “took their foot off the gas” last Saturday missed the crucial parts of the game. Our D played really well in 2nd half. I guess we’ll have this “misinformation” put out from time to time. Vols couldn’t stop the blitz package…that is the Cliff Note version that’s been condensed to one statement. NOT that Georgia took their proverbial foot off the gas 🙄.

In all honesty who gives a damn about Henry T. He left and y’all still give him your time.
It’s like buying a tee shirt that says bad things about another team. You are supporting their brand
Figure it out guy
