There is nothing elite about ga this year. And Texas isn’t overhyped. There is a ton of good SEC teams. And when UGA turns it on, they are the only elite.
Georgia is a very good team, especially on defense. You will absolutely $hit the bed when Alabama wins the NC. Now go to bed Karen!Three weeks ago Georgia was an afterthought. Then Bama and Ole Piss choked and all the sudden Georgia backs into the SECCG to play a Texas team that was clearly waaaaay over hyped and beat them with a backup QB. Texas is a piece of sh!t fraud. All the sudden Georgia are champs and get a bye. Figures.
My point was Ohio State lost at home to a 7-5 Michigan team and 1 more ranked win was the reasoning for ranking them over us on Tuesday. You could apply the same logic to Texas, and yes, I do believe the crowd difference is 5 points or more difference in a game, if you don't see that in college football at hostile road environments, especially in SEC road environments, idk what to tell you. Our road struggles in the last 4 years have been pretty obvious. I mean in 2022, our road win in Baton Rouge was discredited because it was played at 11am.Yeah. Blaming the crowd for losing to a 6-6 team is maybe the most pathetic cope I’ve ever seen.
And people will still unironically complain that Texas is overrated for having a soft schedule while also maintaining we are better than a bunch of teams ranked higher than us because we are in the SEC.And next year will be the same. Except the SEC games will be reversed. Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Vandy will all come to Neyland and the games we had at home will be road games.
