Worley is still not that great - but he didnt suck - AND he held on to the ball, even when he got some hard hits. Also, lets face it, he made that last gasp pass, and without it, there would be no game.

Last game, he posts better numbers than a guy who will set the SEC record for passing yards. This week, he has better passing numbers than Shaw and makes some HUGE plays. I saw a couple of poorly thrown balls. I saw 4-5 drops and a misplay/miscall on Blanc's catch.

Yet you still want to take indirect shots at the guy. Why? Why not just let it go?

Oh... and he made a couple of pretty big plays with his legs too. One was hilarious. Griese had just said something about Worley not being able to run.

shaw was 7-21 that is awful. Worley wasn't that good, his accuracy is terrible still at times but that throw to north was picture perfect

This. Somehow lately he's managed to pull some clutch passes and plays. He's not the best, he's not even good, but he's decent and maturing and getting better. He's our QB, and if he takes care of the football and comes through like he has we'll stand by him.

agreed . Worley made some decent plays and was much more consistent in the first half . I think his hand injury maybe bothered him in the 2nd half ..when the stiffness and swelling set in.

Is he Peyton ? no ...but he could end up becoming a pretty good QB late this season and into next

We need better than Worley to compete for the SEC and more but he did well enough to almost win the last two games and deserves a job well done for this game today. The score could have easily gone against us but frankly Spurrier outcoached himself today and we took advantage of it. Sweet!

I agree. If there was any doubt in the future recruits, this game may have gotten rid of it.

That being said, Butch is gonna be a force to be reckoned with next year based on these results.
