I'll never understand fans that degrade players w/o offering a solution. Who would you have replace him?

Great game, btw, for the Vols to continue to build on!!

Not trying to be a jag, but its kinda bothersome that Worley just played hard and got his first major win as a starting QB and people are still saying he is no good. Give the kid a break.

Today, we turned a corner. I still think Worley is not a good QB, but I will no longer be a negative nancy. Go on, bash me. I am prepared for the heat I deserve.

No bashing from me, brother.
It's been a long hard road.
Let's just enjoy this moment together as Vol fans!

The Florida game was the best lesson taught by Jones: Worley is the best we've got.

We need better than Worley to compete for the SEC and more but he did well enough to almost win the last two games and deserves a job well done for this game today. The score could have easily gone against us but frankly Spurrier outcoached himself today and we took advantage of it. Sweet!

I can take a couple years of wins like this followed by a steady rise to the SEC and MNC. :dance2:

But wins over S. Carolina should be more routine, not epic victories. The Alabama-type wins should be the ones we relish all year long. I think the team is headed in the right direction for the first time in 4 years but we need more bodies to get back to where we should be.

Worley is as tough as it gets. What he lacks in talent he makes up for how mentally tough he is. He was taking shots out there and he still has the guts to throw the ball up to North there.

I think the big think to look at with Worley is how much he has improved from the start of the season until now . If a guy has the intelligence , temperament, and work ethic to improve ..then it is not far fetched to think that he will become better through the 2nd half of the season and then over the off season . The same for the receivers

We may very well open thext season with a talent QB and receiving corp next season

Worley is a warrior and a leader...He isn't the best but he's not the worst...Enjoy the win and get off his back.

This X about 1,000. He's giving his all, leading our Offense and he's improving. He made some damn good throws to North yesterday that directly led to us winning the game, with no ints.

Lets get behind this kid rather than continually posting about how much he sucks and how awful he is. I hope like hell neither he nor his family ever come on VolNation.

shaw was 7-21 that is awful. Worley wasn't that good, his accuracy is terrible still at times but that throw to north was picture perfect

I'd like to see him lead guys a little better on the outside but that also exposes the WR and ball to safety help. I saw two badly thrown balls vs USCe. That's pretty incredible progress... and the BEST QB's in the SEC don't do it any better.

Shaw was definitely rattled. UT's DL had him nervous and the coverages were messing with him.
