But, once again, we are on a huge run and have come back to take the lead. Our response, put McBee and Pearl into the game. The result: we immediately lose momentum and never really got it back the rest of the game. Why we don't keep the same lineup in the middle of the run is simply mind-boggling.
Gotta give them a breather. I think they were maybe in for less than a minute. I remember thinking the same thing, but then Bruce sent in Tobias and Scotty immediately.

I remember the sequence that is being discussed. However, if I remember correctly wasn't it like a 1 pt. game when they came back? Far from damage being done.
The damage was done. Georgia had gathered themselves and regrouped. We had them completely on their heels, and they were collapsing. Putting McBee and Pearl in ended that immediately.
I can see McBee being put in because he actually played pretty good on the ball defense. But IMO, Hall has to be put in.
Do you agree that with the crap we are seeing from Tatum, we have to go to a PG- Goins SG- Hopson SF- Harris PF-Hall C- Williams set?
Then have Tatum and Bone coming off the bench to give breathers to Hopson and Harris. And Fields to give the posts a breather. That gives you an 8 man rotation, and it would put your best players on the floor IMO. Also, it allows us to create size mismatches and would allow us to just dominate the boards with 4 of the 5 guys on the floor at least 6'6.
What broke the momentum was the technical on Goins for hanging on the rim. Not the substitutions.
