I'm Upset too but CROMPTON is our Future.

he could very easily be starting if we didn't have Ainge right now, and he'd give us the same chance to win. Just our Defense couldn't stop LSU when they needed to

Crompton is what we've needed. He isn't a punk. He'll lower that head and put you on you butt. People might see that as stupid but at least he has fire and wants to rock someones head. He's a better runner than Arian Foster.

He threw it into double coverage way too many times, but that is bound to happen when you have a young guy in there. Overall, I think he played about as well as anybody expected.

I agree on the better than Foster thing. Foster makes 1 good run to 4 bad ones...too much cutting and shifting! Lower your shoulder and hurt someone dangit!

I totally agree..........big ole boy....dances around like he thinks he is Barry Sanders........and well he is not needs to be a hammer not a dancer. pretty bad when your freshman QB has more marbles running than our big backs.

i disagree. i feel ainge would have won this game if healthy.

Ainge can't get out of his own way and when pressured still makes stupid mistakes. He started 1 for 6, 3 and out 3 times in a row and -5 yards of offense. All you have to do is rattle him and it is over. Crompton can win with his arm and his feet.

Uncle Rico needs to stay on the sideline and I think his teammates would agree, they do not respect or like him.

Ainge had 2 or 3 perfect passes droppped. Not to mention 2 defensive players coming unblocked to tackle him around his injured ankle.

That's unavoidable when LSU has DB's that can teleport themselves all over the field.

Ainge is still considerably better than Crompton.....a healthy offense (Ainge and Coker) would have done wonders against the LSU offense......

I think he's showing everyone why he was a no. 2 QB prospect in th nation out of high school.

Fellers, Crompton can play this here game. He's going to be a force in the SEC for a few years. We were all very impressed. He made some freshman errors, but he did not make any freshman blunders.

Makes you wonder how next years QB race will shape up. That kind of experience will catch him up to Ainge very quickly.

Crompton looked solid, but he still has ways to go. That's a good thing though..
