Bumping this thread to ask a similar question. Can I embed video from other sites, such as vimeo? I have tried using the same format as youtube videos but I can't get it to work.

pretty sure it's only youtube. I've never seen anything else work

Could it be that you are using the embed option on YouTube rather than just copying and pasting the video's URL and putting the tags around it?

you have to use a link that looks like this (without the space)

You also want to make sure you do not link the https:// (SSL) version, just the non-SSL version, thus http://

When I push play on the video screen, the screen goes black, goes to 0:00 but never starts playing. The youtube link works though. Its not just my video, all the video's everyone posted in this thread, I cant get to play. Sorry to keep asking questions...
