I'd like to go back to the topic of embedding video from other sites... I've seen it done on other forums, and was wondering if that's possible here?

As an alternative, any way to put html in a post?

Which site(s) are you wanting to embed from? I need to tweak the youtube code at some point so I might look at adding a couple others while I'm at it. Let me know.

Nothing in particular. I thought maybe there was a way to embed flash video from any site. What's the reason for disabling html? I assume you can probably take liberties with it that would screw up the page structure of a thread, or worse, like run scripts on people's computers?

It could screw up the page structure but mostly I disable it because of the the security issues from malicious code.

At one point, someone with the basketball program was putting stuff on vimeo.com. However, it looks like they have stopped putting videos up on there (at least not in the last 2 months) Here's a link to one of the videos. Jeronne Maymon Boxing Workout on Vimeo

Does embedding video not work in some forums? I usually don't have any trouble making it work in the basketball forum but I cannot get it to work in the Gaming forum.

Edit: it must have something to do with the mobile site. I switched to full site on my phone and it works now. Sorry for the bother---end edit

I'm sure this has been proposed before but is there a way to get a youtube button like the link button. Where you would just put the link of the youtube video or is there some easier way than doing [youtube] [/ youtube] everytime. TIA.
