In case anyone wants to call Kiffin and catch up on old times

I like how he referred to UT fans as " hill people "

I'd like him to look around a Bama game and give me average amount of teeth in the crowd before I started talking ****

L.A. area code.

Were you the USC fan who left a voicemail warning Lane that his "number" was on here? Can't imagine there's too many USC women lurking on here who could pinpoint that his number was posted on VN in the "Around the NCAA forum" which is where you spend all your time.

Edit: Bamawriter beat me to it. Can't believe anyone would call and warn him, even if the number was legit haha.

The voice mail greeting identifies him as "Offensive Coordinator, Lane Kiffin". Because every football coach would identify their staff position on their voice mail right?

Why would a coach at Alabama have an LA area code on his official phone? It's amazing that anyone fell for this.

Most callers were bummers pretending to be vol fans

No, they weren't.

For the most part, these calls were surprisingly tame. If you are trying to make an opposing fanbase look bad, you go all out.

Stop trying to convince yourself that UT fans were too good to fall for this. Every fanbase has fans that would have fallen for this.

The prank was posted on the football forum. Someone supposedly got an email meant for Bama fans with instructions on what number to call and what sort of thing to say.

Don't know if the email will get posted.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the Bama prank. :zeitung_lesen:

Ah, this site has long been a source of entertainment for a lot of SC fans, how do you think I heard of it? I was laughing about it in chat on my MB though...crazy Vols.

You'd have to be pretty damn stupid to think that an Alabama coach would have an L.A. area code, it's not even the area code where his family lives.

What do you think about the lady SC fan who called and told Lame that his number was posted on "Around the NCAA" on VN and warned him to change his numbers?

Now that person is pretty dang stupid!
