Nope, no worship here. But I think Pruitt's track record as a talent evaluator at FSU, UGA, and Bama speaks for itself.

I have no problem with them giving these guys looks. Not all offers are committable offers either. They're still going to go after guys like Eric Gray, John Emery, and the rest first. These are guys who had breakout senior seasons who they want to evaluate a little more.

Spot on. Just because an offer is given doesnt mean its committable.

So, I guess we’re on the path to coach worship again. That’s good.

I’m not saying I’m a better talent evaluator than our coaching staff. But I’m not willing to say our staff is better evaluators than the other top staffs in the SEC. If those guys haven’t offered, I’m inclined to believe these guys are lower level “reach” type of recruits. Doesn’t mean they won’t be good players. Just means we’re out on a limb.

Until Georgia, Florida, and LSU offer like Jordan Young. So far these guys have shown to be pretty good at spotting talent. Still holding out judgement till we see progress on the field over time.

Disagree. If they are ace recruiters, they will get their signatures. I don’t have anything but positive things to say about their recruiting so far this cycle, but there is no consolation prize for coming in second for a recruit, regardless of the shape of the program.

If you want to have a chance to dance you have to be considered first. They are doing an excellent job at getting consideration. We aren't going to get all we want. Even if we are at the top. Georgia and Alabama doesn't get everyone they have on top of their board either. So i am excited about our coaches talent at recruiting. I don't know what an Ace recruiter is though. Can you be an Ace and still miss sometimes?

I'm on board with anyone the coaches want to take. They're probably just a touch better at evaluating talent than me.

Kid is running behind a pretty good line that is giving him room to get to the second level where is is able to make people miss him. Seems to have good vision and cutting ability.
Too bad UT's line can't make those kinds of holes.

I agree about his Line. He is hardly touched until he is past the LBs. Need to look at some of those linemen doing the blocking.
