What are you talking about? There was a news report TODAY where he said the only two schools he is looking at are FSU and UTK. He said UTK is still possible.

Hello Hello! I completely understand that certain kids are going to go somehere where then can start as Freshmen, get national exposure, and enter teh NFL draft after their Soph or Jr year. UT should be that kind of school. We should never be someone's second choice behind a Bowden.

Somehow I have to think that as crappy as FSU was this year we could have snagged this fella with a good campaign.  I understand that there are folks in East Tennessee who back this kid and he probably is a good guy buy once he goes to FSU I will personally pray for God to strike him dead.  Nothing personal, just my choice based on what feels right for me.

They are going to a BCS bowl and won their conference....wouldn't call them crappy.

never be second choice behind Fl state??? yeah they only win there conference almost every year and have been to more national titles in recent history than UT. I just dont see where your arguement is coming from. FL state always produced playmakers on offense, maybe THAT is why he went there.

They toally slid into that. It was pretty obvious that VaTech was the best team in the ACC this year. But congrats to the old fatty anyway.

I think UT has as much claim to recent winning % as Fl State and I am personally offended that I have to explain this on a Vol message board to alleged Vol fans.

LOL I have been in a bad mood since the UF game this year. I am sorry for saying I hope God strikes someone dead for going to FSU. I truly do not hope for that. I just cannot understand the ambivilance to in-state guys although it was easier to ignore in winning years.

Yeah, FSU had no control over the pounding they put on Va. Tech in the Conf. Champ. ??? Obviously Va. Tech was the better team, they proved it on the field!!! C'mon Hillbilly... FSU was better than Va. Tech b/c they BEAT them.

Sounds like the kid has always loved the 'Noles anyway, doesn't matter... the top talent here in TN is mediocre in the big states... don't know what either... must be HS coaching.

Yes I agree they won the head to head which is huge. However they definitely did not have a typical FSU year. Plus I think Bobby Bowden will die son soon maybe the young fellas ought to look elsewhere.
