I hadn't read this until after the game started, but why in the world would a head coach say this a full week before facing a Top Ten team? You think Norvell mentioned it to his team once or twice? And gee, I don't know, maybe Norvell was motivated by it too? Kelly really baffles me sometimes with his off the field stuff.

Two years running that Seminoles have beat the cajuns. This year a thumping! They'll finish 9-3 most likely. Win many games by talent margin. An SEC eyesore for week one for sure.

LSU gave FS a little bit of a fight, but from where I sat it looked like FS was the dominant team. It really wasn't even close, especially not late.

And IMO the refs called a few ticky tack penalties on FS for unnecessary roughness.

The team quit on Kelly late in the third quarter. We are Vol fans. We know what that looks like from bitter experience. And that is what I saw on that field last night
