He went 113-37, including playing for a national title. He hasn't proven to be a top 3 or 4 coach in CFB but he's probably right outside of that.

Agreed.

I don't like the guy either - seems to have a prickly, smug personality, but most of the "he's overrated!!!" criticism is driven because of that.
