I'll just call BS on the RTL slim chance comment. This kid will be good. If not this year, then definitely after a year in coach Martin's strength training program.

You can't really base games off of the RTL tho.

Ok, I must have forgotten about all the of the crappy RTL players that were huge impacts for the UT teams.

You can't gauge how good a player is in the RTL, but you certainly can see the weaknesses though.

Not hating on the kid whatsoever, but he has proven he's a mediocre player unless his playing for his PR team lol.

Name a player that sucked in RTL that ended up being great for UT.

Martin is a good evaluator of talent and he deemed Reese worth of a scholarship and really talked up his skill level.

I agree but even being great in the RTL doesn't translate at all to SEC play or anything.

I can name ten incoming freshman with no experience in college b-ball that sucked the first summer in RTL and then became good players for UT. Nearly every single guy who played in the RTL prior to their first year at UT displayed fairly unimpressive numbers.

Well I certainly hope he's better than what I've seen and read about. Good thing is that if he does indeed suck, it would be less painful to part ways with him to open up a scholarship. Last resort though, I hope he kills it.

Please name them...

I have a feeling that he'll be able to. I'm at least expecting him to be noticeably better than Washpun.

Stuff coming out of practice doesn't sound too promising, Italy should tell us more though. I get the feeling though at this point Richardson probably sees backup PG minutes.
