Maui, the Big East, the 'AAs. They just won the three best tournaments in college baketball in one year. That's damn strong.

Great resume...but it leaves you scratching your head about how exactly they did it.

UK being their toughest opponent in the NCAA tournament also had something to do with it.

Last I checked, they beat:

UK: who beat Ohio St., UNC, and West Virginia
Butler: Who beat Pitt, Florida, and Wisconsin
Arizona: Who dominated Duke, and beat Texas.

Sorry, that argument doesn't work.

As to the last line, were you saying that your own transitive property of basketball wins doesnt work? If so, yes.

The Butler game was gift wrapped with a bow on it, but the run is quite impressive, especially considering the pre-season expectations of this team.

Transitive property is the last card in the hole in the irrational discounting playbook.

We will be extremely lucky to win one of those tourneys next year. And considering the competition, we might be just lucky enough to beat Chaminade.

That is in no way a knock on Coach Zo, just the talent we will bring back.

Any team that wins with a short bench and has numerous Freshman playing significant minutes, deserves to be credited with a good run.

Agreed. It will take massive luck for the Vols to win the Big East tournament.

Hilarious. Captain Obvious.

Edit: I was actually going to mention that but I figured the classy posters on here would understand the omission.

They were undefeated outside of their conference this season, despite playing power teams from the SEC, Big XII, and Big 10. That says something about them, and it says something about the recently derided Big East as well.

Kemba Walker.

Jeremy Lamb and those two monsters inside didn't hurt, either.

Because they got up for the important games. They're not going to put on the banner

NCAA Champions 2010-11*

*but they lost a bunch of games in February.
