Jim Calhoun lied to the NCAA. Incredible hypocrisy to be a full time UCONN promoter after bearing years of ill will against Pearl BEFORE he lied to the NCAA.

Calhoun is a cheater.

Hat's never been a big Calhoun fan from what I remember, but you've got to give them love for what they've done on the court.

Says the guy that has an unhealthy and obsessive hatred for Thad Matta and Aaron Craft for snitching.

Calhoun had an agent working with his coach to bring a player to his program with $$$$. He lied about it to the NCAA.

Thad Matta lost in the NCAA tournament and got a picture from a cookout that was a minor violation through Craft, a previously committed prospect who gave up the dirt he had on Pearl (which was not much) to try to please his penguin man looking coach who was crying over losing to us.

Bruce Pearl was arrogant enough to lie to the NCAA and not fire his assistants who lied. He believed the NCAA at worst would parse the difference between what USC did, what Arizona did, what UCONN did and a cookout.

Unfortunately for him, he did not realize that like corrupt police officers who never bust the crack house but pull over speeders all day long, the NCAA is a crap enforcement body.
