Indiana Jones reboot coming!

There have been other Bonds, and there can be other Indiana Jones as well. Give it a chance. It's got to be better than the anal rape that was Indian Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Also, Pratt would be perfect. Absolutely perfect. He's got the humor and he is relatable.

I'm not 100% opposed to this. It would still be hard to wrap my head around it though.

I'm not sure you can compare Bond to Indiana Jones. Bond was done for the most part continually from the get go where there has only been one Indiana Jones and a lot of years in between . Bond is the movie version of Dr Who's tv show in the sense of changing the main character.

Oh, come on! This, Hollywood, is why we can't have nice things! Look, I like Chris Pratt. I do. Guardians of the Galaxy was great. And he's hilarious on Parks and Rec. But can't we just let these things exist in the past and as part of our collective culture? Can't we just have one thing that we can look fondly back on and experience with our loved ones on occasion? You want more Indiana Jones stories, awesome. Go write or read a book or comic book about him. But unless they can make Harrison Ford 30 years younger and give George Lucas the ability to write entertaining scripts again, leave it alone for Christ's sake.

Ed: I have not heard of this Kingdom of the Crystal Skull you guys speak of and I have no recollection of it ever coming out in theaters or existing at all really.

I think Chris Pratt can do anything.

I can't believe he's made that dumb guy act work for 7 years on Parks & Rec. Those kinds of characters always get old fast, and he's been great throughout the series.

If you are serious then consider yourself fortunate.

The reason the studios does it is $$$$$$$$$$$$!!!

Star Wars VII this winter will probably rack up 300+ Million. I want say it will be the top grossing film because the final Hunger Games is releasing as well. It has been the #1 film the past two years.

Studios just can't hold onto those franchises knowing the kind of money they can bring in! In 12 to 15 years (if not sooner) I expect Warner Brothers will start discussion on rebooting the Harry Potter series. Who knows they may already are at the highest level in the studio.

I thought they were already exploring some spin off HP stuff. I could be wrong. I've never gotten into it but I thought I read that somewhere.
