Indiana vs. Ohio State

It was true when I posted it…were you watching?
At the end of the game it wasn’t true. I’m surprised though as IU looked great on that first drive. After that it was lights out. Today has been a great day for Tennessee. I don’t see how we could be behind IU and certainly not Ole Miss anymore. IU isn’t one of the 12 best but they still likely end up in.

Yea, at the end of the first quarter IU was 3-4 on third downs, had 78 yards offense and a 7-0 lead. They forced OSU to punt on one series and were stuffed the 4th and goal….they had things going where they wanted them but then OSU woke up…

And I also think IU is still in but probably in the bottom 4

The announcers are already selling that to the committee that they need to consider the margin.

My tinfoil hat is on too tight. That scoring play looked a little too easy to me and then allow the 2 pt conversion.

Klatt was doing his best selling job for IU half of the 4th quarter, just pathetic. The worst was using UGa's loss to Ole Miss to make the IU cause. If you're going to argue, don't use the team with the toughest schedule in the country.

Ohio State left a couple of scores on the field and still curb stomped them. It couldn't be more clear that Indiana is out of its league at this level and that the Big 10 is an utter joke of a conference. With Ole Miss losing, my bet is the Big 10 will still get four teams in, and Ole Miss would kick IU's ass.

If Indiana is still in the top 12 when the new rankings are revealed, then we will know definitively that the sole purpose of this Big 10 dominated selection committee is to justify getting four Big 10 teams in. Indiana is not one of the best 12 teams in the nation.
Not really, given it’s a Power 4 conference team with the 10 wins and 1 loss to a top 2 team.

Now if they lose again next week to 1-win Purdue and are still in the top 10-11 rankings afterward…then entirely different story.

Sadly, no. Was watching the grandkids. I did what CFP committee did and just looked at the stats.
Yea, Indiana came out strong but once they had a couple of setbacks they just crumbled…Indiana had over half their total yards on the first two drives…it was a big stage and they came out strong but couldn’t sustain it. I bet they are still in but they will not be hosting a first round game
