Indoctrination at U of Delaware

No doubt that campuses lean liberal and lean towards theory v. practice. However, you might be surprised at how often these two characterizations do not hold.

Anecdotally, I can assure you there is no liberal indoctrination going on in my classroom and I regularly discard material that is too theoretical and replace it with hands-on application material. I try to reserve theory and postulation for my research. :salute:
you're in the minority. Clearly each university has a few staunch conservatives walking the halls, but they're so heavily outnumbered as to be invisible. I'm also talking more of the campus operations and administration, where clearly the liberal bent rules. In the classroom, professors do what they do, but across campus, the administration rules.

Minorit? yes; heavily outnumbered? not as much as you think. (I'm not a staunch conservative though)

I'm in the School of Business so it's more balanced than most schools on campus. Some programs (e.g. traditional social sciences, education) lean very hard to the left while others (e.g. engineering, some hard sciences, etc.) are relatively moderate.

My experience with administration is that they are generally driven by Political Correctness and fear of legal actions more than any political ideology. PC tends to run liberal but not always.

The most radical liberalism occurs in the classroom.
